Medipam Ayurvedic Bath Soap

The following layout was one of several routes explored in a creative pitch for a medicated Ayurvedic bath soap called Medipam, which contains herbal extracts that clear up oily skin. Kerala, a South Indian state that is rich in nature's bounty, is the home of Ayurveda, a holistic system of healing that originated in India 5,000 years ago.

Kerala abounds in water tanks in which women bathe ritually, especially before going to the temple. The colour green connotes "natural, herbal", while giving a feeling of freshness. Note the packaging and logo with herbs forming a woman's face with the traditional bindi or dot on the forehead. The face is also etched into the bar of soap.
