The customer was to pour water up to a mark on the Magic Glass.
If the mark turned a certain colour, the customer would get
a corresponding prize. If lucky, she could get
the purchase amount reimbursed...in effect, she would
get the Ultra Grinder free... one of the 2,750 prizes offered
during the promotion period.
The Ultra Grinder, which had established its superiority in
performance over the years did not believe in discounting, even
in a market full of lookalikes and price wars. This promotion
during the festival season gave customers a reason to buy the
Ultra despite attractive offers from other brands.
